Julius is the Managing Director of Victoria Finance Plc. He has over twenty-six years of experience in banking, microfinance and financial markets where he raised leadership ladder to become the Chief Executive Officer of a regional bank, a position he held until December, 2015. He previously worked with Standard Charted Bank and Tanzania Investment Bank. Also worked for short term in various treasury centres including London, Johannesburg, Singapore, Harare and Nairobi. He was also a Member of the Executive Committee for EAC Financial Sector Regionalization and Development Project Phase I, Julius served as Director at Institute of Directors in Tanzania (IODT) and he is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Victoria Insurance Brokers Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from University of Dar es Salaam and MBA from Eastern and Southern Management Institute (ESAMI). Julius holds a certificate in Directorship and he is a Certified Public Accountant, CPA (T) and a member of NBAA. Julius has attended various workshops and courses on Leadership, Risk management, Risk analysis, Asset and Liabilities management in Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, Accra, Harare, London, Johannesburg, Istanbul and Singapore.
